My name is Lanea and I started my natural hair journey on December 18, 2010. Not by choice but from not properly taking care of my hair.. So I decided to start over. What's the Tea Thursday!
The "Tea" of the day will be featuring Ms. Viola Davis
The Bold and Beautiful Ms. Viola Davis sported her natural tresses on the red carpet at the 84th Annual Academy Awards. To say that she was gorgeous that night is an understatement. Ms. Viola shined.
I was very surprised to say the least all of the negative feedback that she received after rocking her natural curls. And it really made me question the views of the public. Is there a certain "look" that you have to have in the Hollywood life?

Wearing my natural hair has shown me how to be confident and beautiful and embracing my naturalness.. but when Wendy said room 222 I was like what the what?? I understand that everyone has an opinion however some opinions masks peoples insecurities. I'm Just Saying...
